Steem has some serious doubled edged swords for the price the likes of no other currency has.

For example during downtrends people panic and dump, Steemit dumps the same amount regardless, many authors dump no matter the price, sbd stops printing leading to bigger dumps, costs for witnesses increase leading to more steem dumps, BTC fomo, investments of new projects on steem cost more and countless other reasons.

But then if things go the other way and now with the SPS and EIP things can get explosive very fast and very hard. Fomo buy, doubling down from potential BTC profits, Steemit sells the same amount if not less when price goes up at the same time adrevenue increases due to traffic and more users joining cause of price action. SBD starts printing again offloading Steem dumps a bit, possible SBD pump leading to more Steem purchases, witness and project costs are lowered with higher steem price making it easier to hodl, many may just invest and not looking to dump at all for the next 3-5 years if not 10-17. EIP means hopefully better distribution to deserving accounts and authors, curators who are bigger holders than authors are rewarded more, the SPS gains more value and what it can find will keep growing in size and amount of developments/marketing.

If everything aligns correctly, on top of thy communities, easier account creating with RC delegations, smt's and the money they may bring in while locking up SP. It's gonna get wild.
