I haven't opened a splinterlands pack since the game came out and I bought like 5 packs at launch. The game is brutally competitive. I got a free pack from a dCity event and decided to open it instead of selling the pack. The cards are cool but only amount to like $1.50 ($1 Epic). I think the packs sell for like $2.5 on the market so I think I didn't really do very good value-wise.
I had 5 of each potion and still didn't get anything very great. It was fun to open the pack so I might do it again in the future.
