This is quite an I angle to it. You might actually be consuming less energy if your walls are insulated enough against heat. Using AC and fan might become reduced greatly. Roof also conducts a lot of heat into buildings, depending largely on the kind of roof. Iron roof will bring more heat than asbestos roof. I will like to read more about the research if possible.
