For some reason even knowing that oil is an exhaustible source of energy I had not thought about that deeply. I think more and more efforts have to be directed towards clean energy production.

Of course, renewable and clean energy sources must be incorporated, but they must not have a negative impact on the environment. In any case, I believe that even though the generation of renewable and clean energies continues to intensify, I believe that hydrocarbons will continue to be exploited to be used to obtain by-products, even if we look for a way to use these by-products as fuels such as gasoline and diesel.

It would be great to find a substitute for hydrocarbons but that has not been achieved, it all depends on how science and technology advance to find a substitute that replaces hydrocarbons completely or to a great extent.
