Great piece. Your one of the few here writing quality content it seems. Humans are like sheep and a few trickles can turn into a stampede faster than one might expect. One issue we will have is the power of the existing platforms algorithms to cut reach of posts promoting other platforms. We have already seen this.

Yep, it is going to be an issue for sure and at some point we have to be strong enough to stand on our own millions of decentralized legs. I am hoping that this will come through the applications as they can deliver through SMTs and still onboard onto Steem.
I am also hoping that the MSM platforms will shoot themselves in the foot a bit and we can pick up those who want more from heir digital experience.
