Ultimately, I see the masses entering via gaming. This is something that aligns so well with crypto. The emergence of NFTs means ownership of in-game assets can be secured. In my mind, this will hold great appeal to the gaming community.
We can see where it is going from games like splinterlands that are building out the concept of ownership of assets. I 100% believe that this will take off as it makes too much sense not to.
As a gamer why would i not choose a game or system that allows me to earn from playing. Own the assets and be able to sell them on at will. I'm not going to choose the old system of pumping hundreds into a game and then getting bored and leaving it all behind.
It's really only a matter of what game explodes first.

I am not much of a gamer but I can tell you @niallon11, that is my thinking exactly. Why would any gamer choose to spend time AND money on a game where the value is gone the second the game is turned off. With NFTs, the value is retained.
