RE: My first headphone amp

I looked into headphone amps years ago when I was reading a lot about headphones. I have a couple of decent sets, but never got the amp. As with anything in audio you can pay as much as you like. I know some headphones are supposed to be harder to drive than others and the standard output of a computer is likely to use the cheapest possible components. My headphones (AKG K240) are plugged into my audio interface which should be a bit better.

Audio quality is so hard to measure. A slight difference in volume can be perceived as better quality.
