RE: Gratuitous hand-modelling and other technical stuff

I love the hand model tag hahah nice.

These are really cool gadgets and stuff. Do you use this ammo for competition, culling or both? I know you said the long range stuff so not sure if you keep some with you while culling just in case you need to do a distance shot like that.

How do you trim the casing? Do you grind it a little bit?

This stuff is totally science and it’s really cool! Hoping one day to get these kinds of tools and gadgets for myself. One can never have too many tools I think!

I only make precision rounds so both. It's not in me to do this job with anything less than my best effort. Hunting rounds don't need to be as precise as the distances are not that great, but for long-range purposes precision loads are required. I have A little factory ammunition for my .243 culling system and a rifle profile in my ballistics solver to suit, but that's more as a back up. Remember, one is none and two is one. Always have a back up.

I have a post coming up on this topic. It's cut off using a purpose-made tool. You'll see.

Tools man...How good are they? Let's just say, bloody good! Sums it up. 😉
