Pretty interesting that Tattoos can confuse the watch. I assume you have to charge it everyday? Is this fine in your opinion? Never had an apple watch. Was thinking about it, but charging it everytime sounds like a deal breaker to me :/

Yea I didn't notice the issue with tattoos until I started using it for my workouts at the gym. It really just comes down to the light that tracks everything thinking that it is no longer in contact with my skin thanks to the ink.
I 100% must charge it every single day. I have never actually had it die on me, but it does get down to dangerously low levels of battery if I wear it all day long. It really is just part of my routine. I don't wear it to bed, so I just slap it on the magnetic charger when I lay down. It's always at 100% when I wake up.
Mine is also several years old, so maybe the battery health is starting to get low. I'm sure a brand new watch may be able to last a couple of days with one charge. Depends how much it gets used of course.
