This is my first year of growing veggies in my garden, and I'm as excited about it as you are! In my garden, slugs are the biggest threat and I'm been hunting them every day so they don't eat my plants. My tomatoes aren't doing too well. I think I put them outside too quickly. Our spring has been very cold, so they're basically at a stand still.

That's very useful information about the herbal oils, thank you! Judging from your post, I should probably plant my basil next to my tomatoes :-)

That's great you're excited! It's a lot of fun learning and watching everything mature.

Sorry to hear about your tomatoes. We've had non-stop rain this Spring and it’s been on the cooler side as well.

I’m glad it was helpful to you. I’m also going to try the onion and garlic spray mentioned above as well. Maybe a variety would do good for our gardens. Have you posted photos of yours, I’d love to go check out your blog to see it

You know, I have been meaning to, but I keep putting it off. I definitely will post about my garden, but it will probably be once the weather starts to pick up :-)
