Thanks, Sammy, in this post I talked a bit about mechanics. In summary, I explained that mass is a fundamental quantity in physics that measures the amount of matter in a body, and that the moment of inertia is analogous to mass, but refers to rotational motion. In this post, I also wanted to clarify that the center of gravity of a material system is the point with respect to which the polar moment of inertia of the system is minimal, but I don't know if this concept has reached the reader.
The scholars who have spent their time on these two topics and have left excellent contributions include Isaac Newton, Leonhard Euler, and Joseph-Louis Lagrange. !WEIRD
