This is where I feel like I got lucky. My wife is no technical guru, but she surely knows a few workarounds when it comes to tech. She also acknowledges the skill, knowledge and effort it takes to work on such devices, and I say that's rare.
Everyone more or less should try and learn about the basics, whether it be a clean Windows installation, GPU driver upgrade/downgrade, or even the easy plug in and out fixes. These come in handy, and will always save you a trip to the repair shop.

And yes. If I die, my family will have to become hunter gatherers again. Though, my wife is pretty, so I am sure she can score an IT professional.
