Indian Cupid butterfly
The Indian Cupid butterfly is a super-small butterfly from the lycaenid or blue family. It is also known scientifically as Everes lacturnus. This butterfly is also one of the easiest to find, especially in wild grasses. It could be said that grassy areas are a favorite spot for the Indian Cupid butterfly.
As we know, grass provides shelter, food, and a comfortable temperature for small insects. The Indian Cupid butterfly flies very slowly, at a low altitude, and with a very short flight distance. I've seen them always fly parallel to the grass, never more than a meter. When there's wind, they can't fly and are carried away by it.
