Wowzers! This is great news. I'm sure you will be a very positive force for Hive, you seem like such a sound Hivian and you like being close to nature - surely that's a winning combination?!
I am delighted to hear this. Just to remind you I am new to Hive and I haven't started voting on witnesses yet. I am still trying to work out the good guys from the bad guys so to speak, not that I think there are many bad witnesses out there but there are some that aren't my cup of tea shall we say, and some I wish to avoid. You are not one of them.
You will certainly be added to my witness vote list for sure. I suppose I had better crack on with sorting out which witnesses to vote for. You have just made that a little bit easier.
Your witness announcement post is classic you! Thanks for vividly demonstrating what's involved in running a witness server for the Hive blockchain. It has been very insightful and I have learned much.

My whole life I have been curious about nature, and luckily my friends have helped me get much closer to it over the years. But my career has always been in technology and computers, so I feel like I am finally merging both of my major interests by blogging and supporting the network that I blog on by producing blocks.
I feel ya, many of the witnesses you see have certain Dapps they made and people really appreciate them for that.

That's frickin awesome that you are now in a position to fuse both of your major interests, and now become one of the guardians of the chain at the same time. I'm now beginning to see the trajectory of your Hive journey, it makes sense.
