Well in Black Mirror there is a chapter where people that is dying is connected to a kind of neural network that simulates the real life (much like a matrix for dying people) and its a technology that in lets say 20 years doesn't seem so crazy, so depending what is your concept of being alive we could even live more. In that context who knows maybe 300 years isn't so much time.

There is a segment of those out there who believe "immortality" will come through some form of brain uploading or our "conscious" ending up on some neural network.
Thus far, we know so little about the brain that I am not sure how anyone can venture a guess at that becoming a reality but maybe there is something to it.
