AI: IS IT GOOD OR BAD?
The advent of Artificial intelligence have been met with diverse questions.
Initially skeptical about this form of intelligence, many people have come to appreciate this form of intelligence as it not only makes work easier, faster, and efficient, it is of less cost.
From just chat gpt, and other inferior forms, AI has advanced to great extents. Sadly, it has made some people jobless, and some to switch profession.
Personally, I see artificial intelligence as a double edged sword. It can assist the community, and also, it can destroy the community.
I am not a type that use artificial intelligence for anything, not even pictures. So, I do not know the advantages it offers. At this point, all my mind could think of are it's disadvantages. Do not get me wrong, I don't hate AI, neither do I like it. it is not just my thing.
The only advantages I can think of is that it makes work easier, and faster.
It can serve as a personal assistant.
Additionally, with artificial intelligence, you can make a curriculum of things to learn and begin learning in a step by step manner. Now that I thought of it, I once used artificial intelligence for this purpose.
It can read out to somebody, maybe a blind person.
Looking at these advantages, and more that are not here, you may say that artificial intelligence has brought many good things to our table yeah?
Yes, this fact is inarguably, but, just like social media, this form of intelligence is gradually making people lazier.
Some of the disadvantages are as follows.
People no more do intense research. Everybody is becoming lazy. What they do is to go online, search what they want in chat gpt, and they get it.
Many people are loosing their jobs to artificial intelligence. Ghost writers fall under this category. Weirdly, Drake came into my head when I thought ghost writers. Haha
In the web 3 space (blogging), due to the advent of Artificial intelligence, we now have low effort posts. A writers person is presented to the reader through their writeups. With artificial intelligence, we can not be able t feel a connection between us, the reader and the writer.
The joy and value of artwork lies in the suffering and time spent, or meaning of the artwork. What he art represents. However, artificial intelligence is gradually taking that away. No work is needed to make a art. Just describe the image, and then you have it in less than 2 minutes.
Instead of drake to make music the good old ways, he used AI to copy the voice of 2pac and Snoop dog just to diss Kdot. That's a huge disrespect yaknow.
No efforts is put into music as people tend to do anything, and AI will fix the rest.
There are many other disadvantages that are on my mind, but then, I will like to draw the curtains here.

I can't agree more with you on the fact that artificial intelligence is good and as helped us in many ways, however it as it negative aspects.
And loss of job and laziness is one of the biggest downside, but still it's a good tools and we should find a way to use it well and improve ourselves to be continuously relevant in our profession.
Yes you are right.
It has both a positive side and a negative side.
From my perspective, I think it is for people who prefer smart work to hard work.
Irrespective of the fact that it may get us lazier than we already are, the positivity is something that is worth the risk.

A two-edged sword best describes it. I find that even in the pros of it, there still exist cons. Just feels like it gives with the right hand and takes back with the left. We're here for it all. After all, man made it himself.
Everything on earth has an advantage and a disadvantage. This fact is generalized.
Come to think of it, AI is just a fiction of a person's imagination that came to life to serve humanity.

I am a student and I can tell you ai has really helped me out in my assignments and even to improve my knowledge. However, now ehnn students don't even try to use their brain for anything even me sef , sometimes if are even asked questions in the class we don't even think and find ways to answer the questions we will run to chatgpt straight
thats the point. Students depends totally on ai. The work very smart, forgetting the fact that smart work goes perfectly with hard work.
