We live in a simulation of the entire universe produced by a computer. A few days ago, on October 6, this article was published in a scientific journal, it is a new work on this topic, the possibility that we are living in a simulated universe.

The author is Dr. Melvin M. Vopson, a physicist at the University of Porm, who has explored a new law of physics that explores precisely the hypothesis of living in a simulated world. Although it is called a law, it does not mean that it is a proven law. We are still In its first steps, we are in the steps of searching for evidence, in the step of designing experiments to test it and see if it really works, if it fits with reality.

The idea that we live in an artificial reality, or one that is very similar to a computer simulation, is popular with people like Elon Muck. In fact, this idea, according to some theorists, could solve the problem of the Fermi paradox, a paradox where it is stated that if every form of life tends naturally to expand once it is launched into space and without the need to exceed the limit of the speed of light, any technological civilization could colonize all the systems of its galaxy in a few million years and taking into account that the age of the Universe is about 13.7 billion years, then the question is where are the extraterrestrials.

The Earth has been able to host life for billions of years, aliens or any technological civilization that had arisen before in the Milky Way, in our galaxy, should have passed through here a long time ago and we should see gigantic ruins and remains around. everywhere, why don't we see them, why as far as we have explored it seems that everything is empty and lifeless, that is the Fermi paradox.

Some theorists suggest that there may be an almost infinite number of simulations and that civilizations that are somewhat more technologically advanced than ours, instead of exploring the physical universe that surrounds them where they have emerged, what they do is immerse themselves in one of those universes, whether naturally or created by themselves, where they can develop without impediments, such as the limits of the speed of light or their own death, here we come to a very interesting question, the universe in which we live works naturally as a simulation, that is, when it arose, countless simulations of universes were created naturally with some small variant and ours is only one of them or our universe was created in process by a previous civilization for reasons that we still do not know.

If it is this second option, we collide again with the Fermi paradox, these beings create a universe, but they do not inhabit it, they leave it empty as far as we know and with such gigantic dimensions, evidently it was not created just for humans to appear, the universe seems in that case to be a long-forgotten creation and our existence an anomaly in that simulation.

Perhaps the universe is stranger than we believe, humans until just a few thousand years ago believed that the stars were just distant bonfires, that they were glimpses of gods who came and went doing their adventures.

There are many things that we will find out about the universe in the coming years when our capacity for research, exploration and analysis is multiplied with quantum computing.
