This assassination took place in October 1978.

Georgi Markov reported that he was jabbed. When he turned around he saw a man pick up an umbrella. The event appears to be a planned attack. It was not a prick from Markov's umbrella, but from the attacker.

Thanks a lot for reading my post. Ricin is one thing that fears me a lot. I have seen castor seed one or twice in my life but didn't go anywhere close to eat because of the fear of ricin. The Bulgarian assassination is a very terrible one.
