Hive Power Up Month Challenge 2022-02 - Winners List

The second edition of the Hive Power Up Month challenge of the year 2022 is now over.

Once again, this challenge has proven how difficult it is to stay committed for a whole month, even with rules as simple as:

  • do 1 HIVE power-up or a 100% Hive Power post every day of the month
  • don't power down

More successful participants

Compared to the previous edition in January 2022, we had quite the same number of participants at the beginning, but this time the number of participants who completed the challenge increased by 30 percent!

As you can see in the following graph, we have lost a lot of participants along the way, almost every day except the very last one.

Some made the mistake of not posting or powering up at the right time. Others have published but forgot to activate the 100% HP option. Others simply forgot to participate for a day. And each time the sanction was final: "Sorry, see you next time!"

With a new record of 52 users who will receive their PUM badge, this challenge is becoming as famous as the Power Up Day. Hopefully this number will grow even more in the next edition.

Special kudos to those who, while no longer eligible for the PUM badge, told us that they would continue to participate every day until the end, just for fun or to keep the good habit of staying engaged. You're amazing!

They are 52 participants to have held out with impressive regularity.
Among them, 27 chose the publication with a 100% HP payout option, and 25 preferred the power-up way. That's close to a perfect balance.

Hive Power delegations coming!

As announced in our announcement post, all the winners of the PUM challenge will receive a 3 weeks Hive Power delegation from us!

The amount of HP delegated will be calculated according to the following criteria:

  • How many successful Power Up Months you have achieved throughout the year.
  • The total amount you powered up during the PUM.
  • How many PUDs in a row have you participated in
  • The levels of your power-ups on PUD (ex: you made two "level 3" and three "level 5" power-ups).
  • The number of people you helped to power-up and the amount involved.

The higher all the above-mentioned values, the higher the delegation you will receive.

The report about Hive Power delegation will come soon. In the meantime, you still have a few hours left to participate in Power Up Day and at the same time lay the first milestone of the Power Up Month of March which also begins today!

Hi @andrastia PUM is fun, it forces you to be a bit more disciplined and for me it is what for me addicted to hive. My first four months I was hardly here, but January1st this year a couple of friends persuaded me to do the PUD and PUM and I have not looked back.

As for the community engagement, this is a social site, which to me means not surprisingly being social and engaging. Me thinks you know the topics already 😁

We did it!!!! hahaah that was fun, I didn't think I was going to make it, it's hard to remember to de power up every day. Congratulations to everyone! I hope more people can join, and not just to this activity, but to plan inside Hive, we can have projects in here.

Sait so, due to personal projects, I don't think I'll be joining PUM in March haha, probably will have to jump some days, but I hope I can get back to it in April!
