Hey friends! Super excited to bring you a new adventure. Today I'm officially uploading the most difficult, interesting, and fun trail I've done since I joined HIVE. Not because of the scenery, because there isn't really a great biodiversity of things to see, but because of the objective, which was quite difficult. We crossed two countries for the first time on my blog and channel. We started from Sezelhe to Spain, crossing the famous Sierra: "Larouco," which both countries share. I'll reach one of the highest points, and be careful... And not the highest...🧭🌍

¡Bien amigos! super emocionado por traerles una nueva aventura, hoy oficialmente subo el sendero más difícil, interesante y divertido que hice desde que estoy en HIVE, no por los paisajes porque en realidad no hay una gran biodiversidad de cosas para ver pero si por el objetivo que fue bastante difícil, pasamos dos países por primera vez en mi blog y canal. Partimos desde Sezelhe hasta España cruzando la famosa Sierra: "Larouco" que se comparten ambos países, llegaré a uno de los puntos más altos, y cuidado.... Y no el más alto...🌄🏞️

Investigating, this area belongs to Ourense, Spain despite its great distance to the border with Portugal, this route is 100% hiking, you cannot bring a car here because they are narrow roads, full of dirt and dangerous climbs, I started the hike from the village of Sezelhe which belongs to Montalegre.🚩

My advice as a hiking expert:🌍🏞️/ Mi consejo como experto en senderismo:📍🧭
First of all, you have to wake up early and start hiking from 6:00 a.m., but that means that even in summer the temperatures are low, since you are in a high area and very far north, so keep in mind the following tips:
En:
- It will take you about 4 hours to walk the almost 20km round trip. You don't want to be caught out by night there.
- Take a jacket for the early morning and when the sun comes out, bring light clothes because it gets very hot from midday onwards.
- There is no civilization around here, bring enough water and food.
- Take your time and concentrate on the road, it is dangerous and there are many stones, avoid accidents
- It is not an official route nor is it signposted, so everything you do is at your own risk. Don't lose track with Gmaps.
- It is a high altitude area, and there will be moments along the way where you pass close to cliffs.

- Te llevará unas 4 horas recorrer los casi 20 km de ida y vuelta. No querrás que te pille desprevenido de noche.
- Lleva una chaqueta para las primeras horas de la mañana y cuando salga el sol lleva ropa ligera porque a partir del mediodía hace mucho calor.
- No hay civilización por aquí, trae suficiente agua y comida.
- Tómate tu tiempo y concéntrate en el camino, es peligroso y hay muchas piedras, evita accidentes.
- No es una ruta oficial ni está señalizada, así que todo lo que hagas es bajo tu propio riesgo. No te pierdas con Gmaps.
- Es una zona de gran altitud, y habrá momentos a lo largo del camino en los que pasarás cerca de acantilados.

Honestly, I don't know what it is about this area that makes it have such beautiful sunrises. I suppose it's because of the altitude and the fog. In winter, all of this has snow, so I'd like to tell you that summer and late spring are the best times to hike the trail.🌄🌅
Verdaderamente, no sé qué tiene esta zona que tiene amaneceres tan bonitos, supongo por la altura, y por el efecto de la neblina, en invierno todo esto tiene nieve, por ello aprovecho en decirte que verano y finales de primavera es la mejor epoca para hacer el sendero.🗺️
First hour of walking🌍🏞️/ Primera hora de caminata📍🧭
I'll describe the first hour of hiking, which was about 2.5 km, cold!!! Haha, it was so cooold and windy. I wasn't prepared for such weather. Even though I'm used to it, it's something I managed to tolerate quickly. But if you're new to hiking, be prepared. As you can see, the sun is still setting over the horizon, and the orange sky is fantastic.🌄🚩
Describire la primera hora de caminata que fueron como 2.5km, frioooooooo!!! jajaja demasiado frío y viento no vine preparado para un clima así, a pesar de que estoy habituado es algo que conseguí tolerar rápido, pero si eres nuevo en el mundo del senderismo prepárate, como puedes ver aún el sol se está poniendo en el horizonte y el cielo naranja es fantástico. 📸🧭
I recommend watching the YouTube video because there we have a better understanding of the weather conditions. That's why I'm enjoying combining the two. I can describe a lot on the blog and comment on things I didn't do on the channel, and even more so, show the landscape and give advice.🌍📍

Well, we reached a section of the mountain, which is about 1,100 meters high, and we already felt a bit of pressure in our ears due to the altitude. This had an impact because we were going at a fairly fast pace and weren't getting acclimatized. However, Sezelhe is at about 900 meters, so we were already used to it.🚩🌄

Well, as you can see, I downloaded an app that is quite useful on this hike and it is a height meter, it is not that precise, but as I understand it has a margin of error of 100-150 meters, and well, we are already at about 1300 meters, we are two hundred meters away from reaching the top of the "Larouco" mountain range.🌄🚩
Bueno como pueden ver descargue una app que es bastante útil en esta caminata y se trata de un medidor de altura, no es tan preciso, pero según entiendo tiene un margen de error de 100-150 metros, y bueno ya estamos sobre los 1300 metros nos faltan doscientos para llegar a la punta de la sierra de "Larouco"🚙📸

What a great experience I enjoyed so much. I can't say that Spain and Portugal were that different because the area's landscape is repetitive, but today we left a great achievement at HIVE and it will be recorded forever.🏆

Vaya que si caminaste o más bien diría que corriste porque 20Km ida y vuelta en 4 horas me parece que fue rápido! Bueno, teniendo en cuenta que te detenías a tomar fotos, yo soy más lenta en un recorrido así. 😁
Según lo que cuentas en los puntos donde das consejos para esta aventura, puede ser fácil perderse en esa montaña ¿se necesita de algún guía para hacer esa travesía?
Que maravillosos paisajes se ven desde la cima de la montaña. Tienes razón, en vídeo se aprecia mejor el paisaje. Me imagino la emoción que sintieron al ver esos caballos salvajes!

holisss, en realidad las 4 horas es un calculo mas para solo la ida, pero la venida nos tomó solo 2 porque era siempre bajada y conocíamos el camino, es muy relativo, puedes ir relax y demorar 5 depende que vas hacer, como lo vas hacer, que epoca del ano, muchos factores determinan el tiempo, los 20km no son muy reales porque hay varios caminos directos que reducen el trayecto a la mitad, todo dependerá de ti y los caminos que escojas! puse 20 como un número máximo! Si rodeas dos de las montañas, bueno sin duda la experiencia de los caballos fue loco porque estabamos buscando los duenos y pensamos... aqui no hay duenos son salvajeeeesss jaja, y si te puedes perder facilmente en realidad nos perdimos un trayecto como de un km y tuvimos que volver pero con Gmaps consigues orientarte bien! seria super brutal desde Ourense hasta las montañas y luego dormir allá y bajar hasta sezelhe uff
