Someone told me that there was a city called Brota that is 150km from Lisbon where I could book a hotel room or medieval "inn" for 85 euros a night and stay... I thought... I can seriously stay in a medieval house?, I ended up investigating and indeed there is a small village called Brotas in Evora which we could reach by car from Lisbon in 2 hours and then we will look for a place called: "Houses of Romaria" and at that moment.... Antes que nada como cualquier posada debes reservar primero y te sugiero que sea por booking te dejo aqui el enlace al final del parrafo, llegar a Brotas es facil basta por coger la carretera nacional, te sugiero que sea en vehiculo propio o alquilado llegar alli sin carro es casi imposible no hay tren y no hay transporte publico digamos un lugar en medio de la nada a espera de nosotros para brindarnos una super experiencia de paz y tranquilidad. "Brotas" se ubica en Evora osea en el Alentejo de Portugal osea al sur del pais en una zona bastante arida y caliente, la mejor epoca del ano es primavera ten atencion. Esta semana hay 42grados de temperatura analisa si quieres asumir el riesgo de visitarlo en verano.🏰👸🏻

Lo que leemos sobre la villa es que data del siglo XV en plena era de los descubrimientos, al rededor de la aldea podemos visitar varios dolmenes esto indica que ya las tierras en la zona habian sido habitadas en el 3000 antes de Cristo, es bastante pequena y podemos recorrerla toda en tan solo 30minutos caminando, la posada incluye comida (desayuno) pero no almuerzo y cena, en la aldea solo hay un restaurante y sus precios son algo elevado para dos personas deben rondar los 50 euros o 60 quizas. A las afueras de otras aldeas a poco menos de 20km puedes buscar otras alternativas. Como por ejemplo la aldea de "Mora".🌍🌄🌎

Me encanta hacer criticas y comentarios de hoteles donde me hospedo, tengo la certeza que serviran para personas que quieran visitar nuestro pais, asi consigo ayudarlos a las mejores opciones. Cuando llegue a la recepcion nos recibio la duena de las posadas la cual fue una mujer muy simpatica y conversadora, nos dio un recorrido corto por el lugar y nos mostro los sitios de interes, desde un principio me dio a entender que sabia mucho de la historia del lugar, al indicarnos cual era nuestra casa la primera impresion que me lleve fue la puerta era grande de madera pesada, sabes que me comento la senora? que es la original osea una verdadera puerta medieval guao!!. El espacio es grande son casas no un cuarto tipico de hotel, tienen cocina, nevera, microondas; tienen unas para 4 personas.🌎👸🏻

Para entrar a la iglesia debes marcar una cita con el responsable, yo tuve la suerte que como me quede sabado para domingo habia misa el domingo por eso creo que es interesante pasar un fin de semana y ver si tienes suerte de poder entrar vale la pena fijate cuantos azulejos hay en todas las paredes exepto el techo, a partir del siglo XVIII comienza a sufrir remodelaciones y se hace una mezcla de diversos estilo de arquitecturas: (gotico, barroco, neoclasico). Segun la duena de las posadas me indico que el cura propio encargado de Portugal invirtio miles de euros este ano para mejorar y restaurar la capilla, asi de importante es para el pais.👸🏻🌍

La iglesia esta al lado de mi posada osea la puedo ver desde la ventana frontal, la duena de las posadas me conto la historia de la capilla se dice que en el siglo XIV un pastor estaba llevando algunas vacas y obejas cuando de pronto una de sus vacas se cayo en un hueco y se partio una pata, el en su desespero comenzo a orar y fue a buscar ayuda, cuando regresa la pata de la vaca se habia curado por un milagro y la gente que lo acompanaba presencio tal cosa! en esos dias se construyo una capilla para dar gracias a la virgen maria por ese milagro.🏫🚩👨🏻🏫

Para mi de toda la experiencia mi parte favorita es esta, cuando entras en la posada osea en el cuarto donde duermes ves estas cosas, lo que hicieron fue modernizar la casa pintarla, pero dejaron sin cubrir la estructura original osea estos arcos, y ladrillos datan del siglo XVI, y como fue clasificada como patrimonio de la camara municipal se trata de que no se altere mucho para no perder la escencia de la aldea. Tambien esta prohibido pintar la casa o hacer cambios sin autorizacion de la camara municipal.👨🏻🏫🏫
