RE: Learn to Code Tribe Update (Upcoming Launch, Looking for Volunteer Moderators)

Hi, I started to learn Python slightly less than a month ago (I'm self-taught studying in my free time, so my progress are quite slow) and I was looking for a place here on Hive where I could share my doubts and talk with others about Python and programing in general... If I could be of any help, I'd be happy to join this community and, if you are in need of an extra mod, I'd also like to propose myself :)

Just like you I am learning Python in my free time. That's one of the reasons I am starting Learn to Code. Maybe you've already seen this:
https://developers.hive.io/tutorials-python/getting_started.html
The tutorials do reguire slightly more knowlefge than you've probably gained so far in a month, but it's good to know what points in the road you are heading toward.😁
If you're interested in learning how to develop projects for Hive @learn2code should be a helpful account to follow. I am a beginner and I will be posting what I learn on @learn2code, going through the tutorials, so it will all be from a beginner's perspective.
You'll be considered for a moderator position also.
Thanks! Right now I'm following the free course CS50: introduction to Python, but as soon as I'm going to finish it, I'm going to dive into Hive tutorials and the link you provided is going to be really useful.
That's perfect! I'm sure that sharing our journey with other Hivers/Hivians is going to be very useful to learn more stuff and keep ourselves motivated!
On a more personal note, may I ask you if you have any site/platform/tutorial/material you would recommend me studying before I start doing anything else?
Right now I've completed/I'm completing:
Do you have any suggestion on what I could do next? Thanks!
It looks like you are doing a good job so far. If those resources are working for you then continue with that. Mostly what I've been doing is learning with YouTube tutorial videos (on tablet, I take written notes while watching and listening) and a few physical books.
Also, I made some Python flashcards. If you just have a few minutes to kill like trying to make an important call and being put on hold, the flashcards make for good review so the time being on hold isn't wasted.
I guess I could start also posting some of my own python lessons on my own account while posting what I learn about blockchain development on @learn2code.
