Train the trainer programme for cannulation
Welcome all of you to my today's activity. I hope you all are happy and healthy. Friends, if we want to educate the community then it is necessary to educate the leaders of the community. If the leaders are weak then the community can also become weak. It is important to acquire updated knowledge with age. The world is progressing very fast, in this fast world technology and diseases are also increasing rapidly, that is why we have to fight diseases by using technology as a weapon. That is why it is important to acquire updated knowledge with age.
Today I woke up a little early in the morning than usual. Cold season has started and with cold comes a lot of sleep. I sleep very sweetly from 12 at night till 7 in the morning. Today I woke up early in this sweet morning. I took a hot bath, wore my clothes and left the house to go to the hospital. After going to the hospital, the first thing I did was tea and breakfast.
After having tea and breakfast, I opened my office as usual and was reading the mail in the office for some time, then my boss told me that I have to go to Ahmedabad and train some trainers. I got a car from my hospital and within some time I left my hospital to go to the hospital in Ahmedabad. I started training leaders in a hospital in Ahmedabad.
Effective cannulation is the biggest challenge in healthcare. It is very common for phlebitis to occur within 2 to 4 days. That is why use of maximum safety and quality material has become very important. I trained till noon and then after some time I took a break and went for lunch. I had Paneer Masala and Parotha for lunch.
After having dinner, I started the second session of training. After starting the training, I called nursing leaders one after the other for practicals. Many people had done well and I was educating those who were making mistakes. Cannulation is a challenge for everyone but there is no awareness about it in the community. Every patient wants to get a cannula inserted in the very first passage and not have to face puncture from the cannula the second time. I respect the feelings of the patient and I myself cannot tell that I will do cannulation in the first attempt. For cannulation, the skin, wall of the veins and diameter of the veins are very important. So it is important to provide education to the nursing staff regarding this. I hope you guys have learned something good from me.
