Fake Vaccine Card Illegal? It Would Make Life a Bit Easier...

I live in a state that is very much into restricting its people as much as possible. My wife and I were going to go into a very prestigious restaurant in the area to spend a lot more money than the food would cost in a lesser known restaurant until we saw a sign... "Vaccine card or negative Covid test in the last 48 hours Required." Really? So someone with Covid could come in as long as they have a card saying they got a shot? A negative test from 48 hours ago...that's pretty recent. I guess that means they couldn't have been exposed in the last 2 days...We didn't spend our money there. Olive Garden, it is!

So, I took a picture of a CDC issued vaccine card that a friend had. I have the information that I would need to put on the card. If I buy a card and enter the information myself, are there any legal ramifications? I've already had Covid and its variants, went through them just fine and I have enough evidence that I that I am well. Obviously having a vaccine does not prove one has immunity, at least when it comes to covid. But there's no card for someone like me who has healed from unpoked exposure...so

  1. How do I get a card,
  2. If I used one outside of my place of work (won't use it there because I could get fired), what would be the ramifications if found out? As far as I can tell, there are no laws against it...and
  3. How do I convert the paper card once I have one to the digital QR code that the apps will read so I can have a digital version of the card?

Some of you may be upset with my questions or even the audacity that I would not get the shot. Unfortunately, I believe in science too much to get the shot. I'm not a science denier or a sheep, but I need to be able to wear sheep's clothing.

Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated!
