The irony about it is the fact that Apple has made many steps to ensure their products are not user-serviceable. iFixit makes it easy for users to repair products they bought with their hard-earned cash.
Some speculate that it may be a move to ensure their products can't be tampered with iFixit's tools. Only time will tell...
