I don't know why people care so deeply and take it so personally when someone famous is doing a thing they wouldn't care if their neighbours did XD

The younger we are, the more normal the future will seem

Isn't this normal :)

I don't really understand why people care about celebrities at all - but I am not a very good fan of anything ever. If music is good, I like the music - don't care what the band gets up to.

Yes it is normal - but something people seem to forget. I see it in the workplace where an old employee will complain heavily about small changes to their routines in some way, while a new employee accepts them, and a new hire learns them without questioning the change - it is just the process that is.

I thought you did at least academically, I'm pretty sure you've written about it before :D

Unless it involves back in my day people seem to have the long term memory span of one election cycle.

I lie ideas and concepts and can appreciate (or criticise) people for what they do, but I find it weird when people celebrate celebrity - especially those who are only social personas - I saw that Kim Kardashian is a billionaire... why?

people seem to have the long term memory span of one election cycle

Exactly the problem with politics :D
