Are renewable energy resources our future?

avatar

Renewable is energy that is generated from renewable (ie naturally capable of replenishing) natural resources, such as sun heat, wind, rain, tides and geothermal heat. Renewable energy technologies are defined as solar energy, wind energy, hydro / small hydro, biomass and biofuels. Renewable energy resources are always available for use, and will never run out. This is why some people call it green energy.

Examples of renewable sources of energy

You must have noticed that water, air, sun and biofuels (vegetation) are all naturally available and cannot be created artificially while other energy resources do not exist naturally, they have been formed. Renewable energy resources are always available for use, and will never run out. This is why some people call it green energy.

Significant opportunities for renewable energy resources and energy efficiency exist over a wide geographic area compared to other energy sources, which are concentrated in limited countries. The continued development of renewable energy and energy efficiency and rapid deployment of technological diversification of energy sources will result in energy security and economic benefits.

It will also reduce environmental pollution (because fossil fuel burning causes air pollution) and will also improve public health, helping to reduce premature death due to pollution. Only the United States can save $ 100 billion in health-related costs annually. Renewable energy sources, which derive their energy directly or indirectly from the sun, such as water and air, are expected to supply human energy for about 1 billion years.

Renewable energy contributes 19 percent to our global energy consumption and 22 percent to our electricity generation in 2012 and 2013, respectively, based on the 2014 report of the REN21 2014 Renewable Energy Policy Network for the 21st Century .

This energy consumption is divided into 9% of conventional biofuels, 4.2% of heat energy (non-biofuels), 3.8% of hydro power and 2% of electricity which comes from air, solar, geothermal and biofuels. US $ 214 worldwide is more than bad in renewable technologies in 2013, with countries like China and America investing heavily in air, hydro, solar and biofuels.

Future of renewable energy:

Renewable energy technologies are becoming cheaper due to technological changes, mass production and market competition. As we know that in every country of the world the need of energy is increasing on a daily basis and due to overuse of non-renewable sources of energy, there is a problem of global warming.

Therefore, in the coming years, the world will be ruled by those countries which will gain efficiency in obtaining renewable sources of energy.
