[ENG]The psychology of investors applied to Steem.

No, tutt'altro.

Screen shot dell'autore

Compra basso e vendi alto.. e noi attualmente siamo parecchio in basso.

Hello everybody,

I told it a few days ago in this article [ENG]The psychology of investors applied to Steem. // [ITA] La psicologia dell'investitore applicata a Steem. that the steem price could have fallen quickly below $ 0.20 when we approached that quotation; I remember that at that time the steem quotations were at around $ 0.21.
Today we are at the threshold of $ 0.19 and I don't think the end of the lowering of prices is over.

I'm a wizard? No, far from that. It's just psychology, the one I was talking about in the article I just linked.

The truth is that I know the markets fairly well as I have been dealing with financial transactions for years, first on the stock market and today on the Forex market.
It seems to me quite obvious that, aided by the fact that the cryptocurrency markets are quite falling at this particular time, a rush has started for the sale of steem accentuated by the fact that many of the holders of this token are not real investors, but simple people hoping to make some money from their blogs.

Certainly behind such a glaring drop there is also some big wallet that is selling, but that is part of the normal cycle of things, investors buy and sell continuously based on personal feelings dictated by a study and a vision (more or less correct) of the market.
Remember one thing: many whales sell to bring down the price and buy lower; it could be defined as a repositioning and often, once it has come to an end, it is the prelude to a big rise in prices.
I am not saying that this is the case, but it is also a hypothesis to consider.

So what happens now? Let's try to probe some of the possible scenarios.

Someone is already talking about Steem on the edge of the abyss. I believe it's pure folly to consider this blockchain this way.
The project is there, the development goes on faster than ever since Steem was born and therefore there are no technical or even logical grounds for arriving at such conclusions.

Someone else already assumes Steem's death once Voice is launched; also in this case I would say that certain reasonings verge on madness because the competition has never killed anyone, on the contrary it has always been a stimulus to do better for the entities that entered into competition.
Indeed it should be emphasized that many of those who had set themselves up as competitors of Steem are at a standstill and with Social platforms that recall the Sahara desert.

Then?

Steem will be able to go ahead even with prices close to $ 0.10? Certainly yes, it has already done so for a long time in the spring of 2017:

example.jpg
Author's screen shot

and it must be emphasized that at that time no reduction in node costs and scalability was implemented as today happens thanks to MIRA.

Steem will have active users even with prices close to $ 0.10? Again the answer is definitely yes, because there are so many users who are well aware of the potential of the blockchain and the fact that they are periods like this current the best ones to create a solid reputation and a wallet that in the short or long term will be able to guarantee the fruits of the effort produced now.

Steem will have developers interested in creating Dapps even with prices close to $ 0.10?
Why shouldn't they, do you think it changes a lot from $ 0.20 to $ 0.10 if we have already gone from $ 0.50 from January 2019 to $ 0.19 today? Yet in these 8 months of 2019 we have seen the birth of many Dapps, a symptom that would certainly not be the price to discourage developers but rather a drastic drop in the number of Steem blockchain users.

So investors might be discouraged to invest with prices close to $ 0.10? I'm sorry to repeat myself, but even in this case the answer is negative.
It is precisely the low prices that attract investors, given the very favorable investment / potential ratio. Investing at such low prices would expose investors to few risks with respect to earnings prospects.
Famous saying goes: Buy low and sell high .. and we are currently far below.

What should we worry about at this point? In my opinion the only thing that could kill Steem is the lack of interest. Users, developers and investors.
Only in this case could we see the end of this blockchain, but I am pretty sure that this will never happen.
Steem is about to become something will be on everybody's tongue, because it will allow access to decentralized applications, to a more free and accessible form of finance and that will include many things under a single blockchain to the point that Steem will no longer exist but will exist a lot of "Powered by Steem" platforms.

I know I may look like a visionary to you and maybe in a short while I'll find myself confronting myself with a different stark reality; but can you imagine how nice it would be if all this were to become reality?

Greetings,
Carlo (@miti)

It is precisely the low prices that attract investors

Sure... When you see that the price is constantly droping down for 1.5 year, it's a great sign!

Price of all altcoin are dropping down for 1.5 year... so if an investor is interested in cryptos and blockchains, I don't think must be afraid of this drop. This is my point.

Bravo!! In effetti sta riprendendo a salire, ora siamo a 0.195$ e credo salirà ulteriormente. Stiamo a vedere!
