Good morning from Venezuela. Hi, friend@storiesoferne. Thank you for your support and for your comment. Mr. Juan Félix Sánchez He was an exceptional person. A good, happy man, very believing, with great faith in God and in the Virgin. He spent all his life in his land, he was a farmer, a peasant, a true man of the Venezuelan páramo. Simple and of great humility. I did not know him in person but I did know about him because my brother-in-law is from the State of Mérida, one of the most beautiful Andean states and with the most touristic places in Venezuela, they call it the city of gentlemen because of the excellent education they reflect their habitants. My brother-in-law had told me about him and my sister and my mother had visited the place twice. I am going to share a video, documentary type of an interview that they did with the artist, it is a somewhat long video and it is in Castilian or Spanish language. I couldn't translate it but at least to get to know the artist. NOTE: You do not need to see it in its entirety, it is just to meet our honoree today. Thank you very much and infinite blessings.

Un hombre bueno, alegre, muy creyente, con mucha fe en Dios y en la Virgen. Pasó toda su vida en su tierra, fue agricultor, campesino, verdadero hombre del páramo venezolano. Sencillo y de gran humildad. Yo no lo conocía en persona pero sí sabía de él porque mi cuñado es del Estado de Mérida, uno de los estados andinos más hermosos y con los lugares más turísticos de Venezuela, la llaman la ciudad de los señores caballeros por la excelente educación que reflejan sus habitantes. Mi cuñado me había hablado de él y mi hermana y mi mamá habían ido de visita al lugar en dos oportunidades. Les voy a compartir un video, tipo documental de una entrevista que le hicieron al artista, es un video algo largo y está en idioma castellano o español. No pude traducirlo pero al menos para conocer al artista. NOTA: No es necesario que lo vea en su totalidad, es solo para conocer a nuestro homenajeado hoy. Muchas gracias e infinitas bendiciones.

I apologize for so much trouble to send you this historical data of our artist Juan Félix Sánchez, what happens is that I am excited to be able to show you the greatness of our people. We are good people. That is our true essence. The current politicians of Venezuela and the bad people do NOT represent us. Our cultural values and idiosyncrasy say that we are people of respect, study and work.
