As it is possible that the perseverance rover could capture the image of a rainbow on Mars, rainbows are not possible on the red planet and are created by sunlight passing through drops of water in the atmosphere, usually on a rainy day and these Raindrops make a prism effect that breaks up sunlight into the colors of the rainbow we see.
Como es posible que el rover perseverance pudiera captar la imagen de un arcoiris en Marte, los arcoíris no son posibles en el planeta rojo y son creados por la luz del sol que atraviesa gotas de agua que hay atmósfera, generalmente en un día lluvioso y estas gotas de lluvia hace un efecto de prisma que descompone la luz solar en los colores del arcoíris que vemos.

But on Mars there is not enough water to condense and form drops, and the low atmospheric pressure and the cold make it impossible for drops of liquid water to form.
Pero en Marte no hay suficiente agua como para que se condense y forme gotas además la baja presión atmosférica y el frío hacen imposible que se formen gotas de agua líquida.
So where did the rainbow in this image come from, as explained by NASA in its 'twitter' account, it is simply a lens flare, although we can also see it as a romantic touch, a ghost from the past, a past where Mars was a lot more humid where there were rivers, seas and it rained and therefore rainbows were produced, who knows, maybe our descendants will see rainbows again on Mars if one day humanity decides to form the red planet on land.
Entonces de dónde ha surgido el arco iris de esta imagen, según explicó la nasa en su cuenta de 'twitter' es simplemente un destello de la lente, aunque podemos verlo también como un toque romántico un fantasma del pasado, un pasado donde marte fue mucho más húmedo donde había ríos mares y llovía y por tanto se producían arcoiris, quién sabe quizás nuestros descendientes vuelvan a ver arcoiris en marte si algún día la humanidad se decide por tierra formar el planeta rojo.
