Greetings friends of @geekzone, here I come back again after a time in which I was very inactive here because of personal situations, but during all this time I compiled something to bring a few more posts here and thus bring some more content here and activate me again.

Well some time ago, during this pause of inactivity by the community, I have not stopped doing some work around there in terms of some things, either own or other people who ask me for help to solve some things, and within these my mother-in-law came around to tell me that at work, they had placed some new mice, with which after a long time demanding some renewed them, everything perfect, but that hers mysteriously stopped working after the lady of maintenance and cleaning of the office cleaned.

She told me that she went out when she heard how the mouse hit against the desk, but she did not pay much attention to it, the thing is that the mouse signal was "flickering", because it was not constant, so knowing that maybe they would not replace it, it was better to repair it or see if it could be repaired, It was better to be able to repair it or to see if it would be necessary to buy one with difficulty to even put her fingers on it, because to say something, it was delivered on a Friday and she was out of the office until the other Thursday, so she had not been able to use it and the fall was the following Monday, so it did not have much use.

But well, returning to what interests us, she remembered that I am very given to this kind of things, she brought it to me and when she told me what happened, I told her that perhaps because of the fall something could have come off inside it, since these mice have the disadvantage that they are of very poor quality in many cases, as these mice are available for about 2$ that I have seen them around, and the quality of the manufacture beyond the "branding" of the brand and aesthetics, leave much to be desired.

imagen.png

Well, as one would say in these parts, everything is at the minimum necessary for the operation and quality control, perhaps even nonexistent, because when I took it in my hands I proceeded to disassemble it, when I start with the visual review, I notice something, because the cable was slightly "bitten" in what would be the edge of the housing with the cable, because as I mentioned before this to have poor quality assembly, does not have a rubber or something to avoid this.

imagen.png

imagen.png

So, when I saw it, I said this must be it, I proceeded to connect it to the computer, and as I thought, the signal came and went, because when I took it by the side that was "bitten", I saw how it worked correctly to be in a fixed position, so I told this to my mother in law and told her that I had the solution to this.

imagen.png

imagen.png

A little bit of crazy glue and patience, it would be more than ready to work for a while more, without any problem, so after drying, and careful assembly I could see that it had some crazy glue where it was bitten, and to avoid that for example thanks to something like that, they changed the mouse for a defective one, I proceeded to place the initial of the letter of her name and in this way she could identify for sure which is her mouse from any other and in case something happened she would know how to say this is not mine. . since I placed the letter in a place that does not have contact with the fingers and that at first sight is not noticeable, because you would have to be very detailed to notice it.

imagen.png

Already after testing it for a while, I proceeded to the delivery and until today that mouse is still working perfectly, and I make this post with the purpose that perhaps if you own a mouse of this style and has a problem like the one mentioned above you know that it can be solved easily and do not decide to throw it to the dump, or suffer with the intermittency of the signal of the same.

Thanks for your support and I won't say goodbye without wishing you a happy day, afternoon or evening, see you next time.
