About the "J.C. Mobius" -
The "J.C. Mobius" is the first of the Templar's fleet of Genesis III MPS Treeships.
Named after the famous young Templar "Jai Chaisteen" and his advanced "Mobius Propulsion System" (MPS); basically a one surface, never-ending xylem and phloem highway within the living tree that's stocked with various digital organisms (binary virus, bacteria and macrophages).
These digital/biological organisms chase each other around for survival and food; producing huge amounts of energy in the form of heat.
The MPS was created by Jai Chaisteen when he realized that quantum biology (e.g., photosynthesis, organelle locomotion, etc.) combined with natural predator/prey dynamics on an unlimited platform such as the endless, "no finish line" surface area of a Mobius strip could provide enough propulsion energy for a conventional Treeship to operate for at least one and a half millennia.
