You can also consider India where these lines are laid down above the roads, which reduces the width of the existing roads, forcefully enters the areas occupied by the apartments, societies or villas. Finally, there are very few users who afford to travel by such costly vehicles. Roads become polluted but the politicians sing the song of cutting carbon usage. In some parts of the country they are cutting jungles and green belts for these Railways.
