EDIT 1: Starship is scrubbed

There are two potential launches today. Starship is always uncertain. Starlink depends on the weather in the recovery area.

News from Mars

The Mars helicopter completed all its missions. Everything else is now bonus. So far, Perseverance's main objective was to observe Ingenuity. Now the mission for the rover starts and the helicopter might help it navigate to interesting spots.

Starlink

SpaceX is launching 60 additional Satellites for their own Starlink Constellation.

The booster is a Block 5 on its 9th flight and will land on a drone ship.

The mission to low earth orbit will launch from Launch Complex 39A, Kennedy Space Center, Florida.

Launch Weather by the 45th Weather Squadron: violation of weather constraints currently below 20%. Weather in the booster recovery area might be a reason for a scrub.

Cargo:

  • Payload mass is approximately 15,6 tonnes
  • 60 Starlink Satellites
