This breed of hound is known for its robust nature.
Alpine Dachsbracke is believed to have originated from Austria and it is a result of mix breed of larger native hounds with Dachshund of Germany.

Alpine Dachsbracke are not fast as others but stamina is its advantage with a lot of power and endurance. They are good with trailing scent for as far as they can go.
