Yo como aficionado al ajedrez, he reproducido todas las partidas de los dos Match que jugó Kasparov contra la supercomputadora de IBM, Deep Blue, uno lo ganó el Ogro de Bakú y el otro la máquina, aunque en la segunda se acusó de trampa, pero esta es otra historia. Lo anterior fue en el año 96, pero en el año 2017 es publicada una serie de partidas jugada por una inteligencia artificial llamada AlphaZero contra el módulo de ajedrez campeón del mundo, Stokfich 8, siendo AlphaZero superior y demostrando una nueva forma de ver y jugar el ajedrez. Lo fascinante de AlphaZero es que aprendió a jugar en tan sólo 4 horas jugando contra sí misma. Ya Stokfich 8 era muy superior a cualquier humano, ahora la IA es superior al módulo, claramente estamos siendo superados por máquinas.

Muchos auguran el fin de puestos de trabajo con la sustitución de desarrollarse por IA, otros lo ven como una herramienta más de trabajo. Y parece ser así, una herramienta más, ya que según expertos ChatGPT no está logrando resolver algunos problemas, sino que agiliza la creación de código a partir de la solución encontrada por los desarrolladores, así mismo como lo ha venido haciendo GitHub compilot desde hace algún tiempo.
Muchos artistas digitales y creadores de contenido están usando actualmente a la IA para generar arte y contenido, generan dinero con los resultados que obtienen y de manera mucho más rápida que antes, en la web2 esto parece no ser un problema, ya que la automatización de las tareas es casi necesaria. El reto es para plataformas como Hive donde se hace uso de la prueba de cerebro, se lucha contra el plagio y el abuso de las recompensas, creo que este 2023 será un año de muchas discusiones al respecto y de ajustes en la forma de curar contenido.
