Hive Stock Images: Fairy Inkcap Mushrooms

IMG_20211121_132714.jpg

This is a typical mushroom in the rainy season, which usually doesn't last more than two days, maybe even a day. If they are slightly exposed to the heat of the sun, they immediately wither and dry up.

Being able to capture them from some nice angles before it all happened was lucky for me. They were tiny and so beautiful, sticking out of the cracks in the rotting wood, lined up like decorative light bulbs.

Those are the fairy inkcap mushrooms (Coprinellus sp.) that I captured a while ago. Yup, exactly two days after it rained. I will include these images as my contribution to Hive Stock Images. Thank you. 🙂
