The State of UFO Disclosure

There are at least three areas within our culture that have the potential to fundamentally change how we think about the world and our place in it. There's technological advancement as a whole, which is reshaping our biology and environment. There's psychedelic medicine, which has the potential to heal wounds that medical science was previously unable to touch. And there's UFO disclosure, which could end up transforming our understanding of reality itself.

People have been seeing UFOs forever. In 1896-7, there was a wave of mystery airship sightings across the country. The sightings were widely reported by newspapers of the era. According to this article, "a conservative estimate of the number of alleged individual sightings would be 100,000." The mystery of the airships was hotly debated, but it was never really solved.

Near Mount Rainier, Washington on June 24, 1947, Kenneth Albert Arnold claimed that he'd seen 9 mysterious objects flying together in the sky at high speeds. Newspapers widely reported the sighting, popularizing the term "flying saucer." Thousands of others began reporting mysterious objects in the skies. Not all of these were saucer shaped, and in 1952 the term Unidentified Flying Object was created by the Air Force to encompass the various types of objects that witnesses had encountered.

Over the decades, the term UFO became associated with low credibility. But the sightings continued and the government was eventually forced to contend with them on some level. To do so, it adopted new terminology. According to CBS News, "the recent official shift from "UFO" to "UAP" began to take hold in 2020, when the Pentagon established the Navy-led "UAP Task Force" to investigate reports." UAP initially stood for Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon, but the Pentagon updated it to Unidentified Anomalous Phenomenon in 2022, so as to include more types of unusual objects.

Mystery airships. Flying saucers. Unidentified Flying Object. Unidentified Anomalous Phenomenon. Whatever is going on here, it's not nothing. There are things in the sky and possibly elsewhere that we can't explain. The government has been studying this stuff for a long time and only in the last few years admitted to having any knowledge about it whatsoever.

A recently convened NASA expert panel looked at a limited dataset of UAP encounters and found nothing conclusive. Publicly, the Department of Defense set up the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) in 2022 to track anomalous objects anywhere. There are almost certainly secret government programs involving UAPs. Earlier this month, the Daily Mail published an article titled 'CIA's secret office has conducted UFO retrieval missions on at least NINE crash sites around the world, whistleblowers reveal.'

Dr. Edgar Mitchell was the sixth man to walk on the moon. A 2015 Telegraph article reveals his thoughts on the matter:

"My own experience talking to people has made it clear the ETs had been attempting to keep us from going to war and help create peace on Earth." He claims other officers manning missile silos or Pacific bases back up his claims with stories of alien spacecraft shooting down test rockets mid-flight.

Officially, the US government is finally disclosing some UFO information. This is progress, but there's clearly much more that we aren't being told. Have physical anomalous phenomena crashed and come into our possession? If the answer is yes, the technological implications alone could be revolutionary.

Great resources and articles you gathered! I love how you "string the beads" :) I'm curious why so much mainstream media coverage about UFOs now. Of course, Whitney Webb thinks it's a way to distract us from the never ending wars and COVID fiasco.

The UFO testimonies of people from government and military spheres are really interesting.

The question of why now is interesting. I personally suspect it's a massive limited hangout to sell the public on a heavily sanitized narrative about the phenomenon. Even so, the more info comes out, the weirder it gets.

So you mean UFO is in charge of planes and all?
I said that since you said they are in charge of flying objects
Am I right?

The government wants to be in charge, but UFOs may not recognize its Earthly authority.

While it's hard to believe that there is nothing to any of it, on the other hand, I also find it difficult to believe that UFOs would be crashing into the Earth so frequently. What are we, the galactic Bermuda Triangle or something?

I hear that. If intelligent life is behind the UFOs, how advanced can they be if they're crashing all the time?

Low credibility can really be devastating at times if not well carefully decided

Very true. But I feel like the term UFO may be regaining some credibility as more and more people become aware of the phenomenon.
