We’ve been on a trip for three weeks, first in Vietnam, now in Thailand.
Everything is fine, the weather also did not disappoint.
But the coolest thing for a modern person is, of course, excellent internet, in a hotel, in apartments, in cafes, on the street.
Especially for those who write blogs on the Internet, maintain channels, post pictures on Instagram, Pinterest, Reddit and other social networks.
Especially for those who live in China (and we are in China often and a lot of time).
The first days in Vietnam, I just relaxed with the Internet working perfectly, really relaxing with all my heart, this is really a relaxation for a person who in China is constantly fighting for trying to get to the resource he needs.

Who is now trying to write what I need for some kind of "not that" resource?
I go only to the most ordinary resources, which are used by 99% of all of you Internet users.
In addition to resources closed in China, a trailer, it is impossible to get into dozens of others that have nothing to do with closed resources, for example, on most sites where you can listen to audio books online, or watch movies and TV shows online. It is impossible to get into the online banking of some banks normally.
You can get in, and then SMS will not come.
Or SMS will come, but after 30-40 minutes.
That is, every day now, while in China, you are conducting a quest from morning to evening called "Get to the right resource."
In 2019, China actively took up VPN bans, access to which 10 years ago you could easily get right in the China Telecom office when you connected home Internet.
Advertising of companies providing VPN services hung in every elevator of each house, they could be connected directly in the office of the company or in the office of the local management company of your apartment building or office building.
Every year new orders come out, they covered up all this, banned the use of VPN, removed all programs in Apple Store and other similar services from cell phones and communicators from the possibility of loading VPN.
And the resources that you stopped getting into are becoming more and more.
Now Wikipedia has already entered here.
Moreover, the funny thing is that Chinese trading companies that sell to the whole world can not get anywhere.
How to sell goods to foreigners if you cannot advertise it on any foreign resource?

Annoying, of course, pretty much. What I can do in Vietnam or Thailand in 5 minutes turns into a quest for an hour or two in China.
I even stopped practicing online training on Instagram, having been engaged for a year, because Instagram in China is not practical, and it’s impossible to engage or watch online stories. You can only record (times from the 30-50th), and then engage in recording, with brakes or croaking of speech. Of course, I’m tired of this year.
If I get somewhere, then the video or page can be loaded for a long time, constantly updating, the speed, if you measure, practically nothing.
Virtually nothing, this is any short video on Instagram that you can watch only with constant stops, loading it for a few seconds, and constantly pressing the stop to watch the whole thing.
And all this despite the fact that everywhere in China they are actively launching 5G with facial recognition, that is, the Internet speed to China with this technology is huge. But for other purposes.
For those who don’t know, everything works in neighboring Hong Kong and in neighboring Macau.
Now is the time to get nostalgic for the not-so-distant year 2005, when we often visited China and enjoyed free Wi-Fi at high speed.
In China, even then, sitting in any cafe, in the same Starbucks (or next to it on a bench), it was possible to use the Internet for free, and free 5-6 networks from nearby networks of other cafes were lit.

And everything was open, and everything worked.
