Personally, I think it's a good thing that abortion rate is decreasing. According to statistics from the WHO, there is a global rapid reduction in the rate of abortion due to education and exposure. There was a time when preachers and religious leaders would teach and preach against the use of contraceptives and abortion even to the married members of their congregation. But nowadays, couples understand that the preacher won't be there to feed them or their 20 kids. So the decision was always theirs to take.

As for the Muslim athlete with the hijab, I think she should have been told to take it off before the race if she was going to be disqualified for wearing it. And the last time I checked, IAAF allows the use of the Hijab.

I actually took time to watch this video to the end. Really nice and educative. Some rules are bad rules and need to be changed ASAP not just because of religion but because they ain't fair. Let's not give these overzealous religious people room to draw attention to themselves.

Foetuses in the early stage don't have life in them. They're just flesh without life. How can one call aborting such as murder? I think that's where the Catholics are having issues. I think Islam only frowns at abortion when the foetus has reached some certain stage(perhaps till when it has had life). Thanks to the pills, it won't even get to become a foetus right? They(Catholics and Moslems) should be happy instead. Abortion has dropped 10%. It's a welcome development for the society in the long run.

Fetuses are still alive but @arminnavabi's argument is that they do not possess self-awareness so do not require the same protections that older humans with self-awareness require.

I agree 😊

I agree with @arminnavabi. I meant embryos at their early stage are not alive not foetus(my bad😜). Just days or a week after fertilization. I think the heartbeat starts at 18days or so. And most abortion takes place before this time. Thanks for the reply✌💗

With respect to the athlete, I think this was an act of begottery. Reason why is because she was probably the only Muslim athlete in that event and anything she does would be a strange act to everyone. Then secondly, it's actually allowed to race in a head wear. Thanks to the top Muslim world class female sport officials and athletes.
As for abortion, I'm in full support the use of contraceptives if you don't want babies. Only thing now is that hopefully these contraceptives (besides the condom) won't have side effects or prevent conception later on. Good news abortion rate has dropped. Thanks for the video @atheistrepublic, it is very educative.

That's a good point. Almost all medications come with possible side effects.

Thanks for the video @atheistrepublic, it is very educative.

You're welcome 👍

Permit me to say, This is the best video that you guys have brought so far and I obviously learnt something from this and that is the fact that in some religiously inclined countries people do not really vote as to the things that might move the country forward and this is often as a result of an uneducated society where people feel that some people who are contesting for Leadership are a kind of fatherly figure or a kind of Prophecy that has to be fulfilled instead of thinking about things like human right and things like the standard of living in their country which for me is really not right and I'm looking forward to when some countries in the world will attain knowledge as to how true leadership should turn out to be.
Well I think this issue of hijab wearing in games needs to be really addressed very quickly it's causing uproars

Nobody wants to have an abortion, but I think it should be an option, with limits. A foetus is a potential person, but the mother already has a life and it should be up to her. Birth control needs to be easily available and young people educated about it. They will not just stop having sex.
