The paradigm changes knock on the door. The world pounces on technological progress like a fat man on a donut, and nothing seems to change the inertia of these movements.

A moon race is near. Its objective, will no longer be to make a tailor's tape to measure the dicks, but to supply humanity with energy.

A new paradigm shift is near.

What is that about the paradigm shift? It is a point in human development that marks a before and after. Writing, language, printing, mathematics, computer science, etc ... are paradigm changes experienced by human beings in the past.

The next ones will be blockchain, 5G, artificial intelligence, IOT and nuclear fusion. In the latter we are going to focus, and it promises to make the wettest of human dreams come true.

The conquest of unlimited energy.

According to current calculations, nuclear fusion will have the first deuterium tritium plasma in 2025, and between 10 and 15 years later we will see the first commercial fusion reactors work. To feed these, there are experts looking to get the most valuable of the elements.

Helium 3.

This element is found in very few quantities on earth, since it is estimated that in total, our planet is home to about 50 kg. However, the moon is home to 1000000 tons, of which only 25% are usable.

1000 tons would serve to cover the land demand for a whole year.

Thus, helium 3 can provide energy for 2 and a half centuries or more, in case the energy is optimized more or a greater amount of the lunar reserves are exploited. However, this material also has detractors, since its chemical reaction with deuterium is slower, and this would require more temperature to fuse its particles.

And more temperature means more technology, more cost and more waiting time.

There are also those who argue, that although it does not feed the earth for centuries, it is not a renewable material, so that its exploitation is not a priority.

These detractors have not prevented China, India, the US and Europe from launching projects through their space agencies to gain the helium 3 of the moon. A new career is falling, and its winner will gain control over man's most valuable resource.

Energy.

A new space race is coming before our eyes, in this case to see who is done with the control of future forms of energy. There will be winners and losers: we ignore who the first are, but the second will undoubtedly be those who do not participate.
