Here is a great project by @sunburntcat @telokanda Balloons or CLimate Study for telos Africa with Weather Balloons and its the FIRST scientific Data collected by a project funded from a BLOCKCHAIn worker proposal. If anyone has any other examples of this happening, please tell me but I dont think anyone has been using a WPS to get actual scientific data which then shows up on the blockchain like this

Now for a fun joke:
I can use steemit telos trx smart contracts to bring the hivemind nanobots into focus and activate my miniature serl effect generators to feed electrciity into the Starlink satellites which are actually used to dissipate heat energy from teh earth which isnt just for global warming counter actions BUT, it will be used as a giant planetary defense grid, and I get to be plugged in with my network of @telokanda "weather" balloons
Soon i will have all the animals on the bit torrent network, and I can use telos to escape the simulation once I "catch em all"

Anyway before i go for a walk, I wanted to bring up something called Bird Watching and how some people are actually PAID for this activity. Its been part of pop culture but public agencies pay people to track the movements of birds and I have been told by people on the streets before the bird watching was a sort of side hustle for some, with Large public agencies paying people to track birds. People laugh but science can pay you to collect data and we can turn real life into one giant Pokemon style game for children to learn science and blockchain . So obviously telos Bird watching should be explored as a dapp and the dna on chain work EDNA has done comes to mind 😏. I have been asking for years in the DPOS community on steem for a Taxonomical Scientific Database for all species of plant and animal wikipedia style but using the San Diego Zoo, with accounts created for animals, and animals earning money etc.

Telos Blockchain accounts for non humans would also entail many interesting philosophical questions that coincide with recent developments in Dogs learning language and Seaworld transitioning away from Cetacean slavery, and John Lilly and his Dolphin language research. I feel like telos will fund a lot of mainstream fun scientific education but could also one day fund a LOT of the fringe science that gets ignored, if Nikola tesla was alive today hed try to make a WPS funded Lab or Workshop for Telos Magnetics research ;)
