Web 3.0 - The New Internet Revolution (A Brief Personal Analysis)

Good evening from Romania, fellow HIVE users and dear readers from both HIVE and outside of it! For today's second post here on my HIVE blog, I decided to write a bit about my perception on Web 3.0 which will mark the new internet revolution.

The following paragraphs represent a brief personal analysis on Web 3.0, from definition to broad applications and partly contain guideline messages for both HIVE users as well as for the larger audience. Last but not least, it must be mentioned that the partial guideline messages (found mostly in the caption of the two images of this post) are by far addressed as written small tips to the author of the most (i.e. moi, pardon my French, * cough * unserious Monthy Python reference here, heh).

In the past, the vast majority of internet users used what is known as Web 2.0. Currently, we have managed to scratch the surface a bit on Web 3.0 but we are still slowly and steadily moving forward with it to further development and completion. A great product of Web 3.0 is, as you mostly know it by now, the blockchain and its afferent technologies. Indeed, blockchain and blockchain technologies have brought about a massive and fascinating internet revolution to such an extent that online monetization for independent content writers hasn't ever been more easier (at least, in the begging).

In essence, you are rightfully paid for the content you put forth on such a blockchai-based platform. Steemit was (and still is, I believe, being active to this day, if I'm not mistaken) a great platform for independent content writers and content curators alike. HIVE, for me, seems to step ahead, at least. That's why I migrated to this fork of Steemit approximately two years ago, several months before re-starting my higher education.

Otherwise, Web 3.0 is far vaster and more rich and does not limit itself only to blockchain and blockchain-based technologies. Blockchain and blockchain technologies are just a constituent part of the massive internet revolution that Web 3.0 is about to bring forth in the following years, more and more completed to the demands and needs of an ever evolving internet audience and ever expanding mass of intelligent users.

According to techtarget, Web 3.0 can be best defined as the third generation (or third iteration, if you will) of the World Wide Web, a better, more enhanced, responsive, efficient, accurate, and fascinating version of the internet we all used to know, surf on a daily basis, and gather information from. Uploading information will be easier and more user-friendly, that's my bet as well. Aside from this, Web 3.0 already encompasses (and will include better) artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, semantic technology, various decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs), and so much more.

Web 3.0 is still a major work in progress and is expected to continue to expand, thrive, progress, and evolve over the following years. It will, definitely, be a very interesting ride around for all internet users, be them well-experienced ones or beginners. See you around and enjoy the ride!
