The Fastest Electric Cars In The World (And Why I Love Them)

Hey, there! For quite a while, I intended to write a brief article on electric cars as I've been very keen on them since my high school days. While I initially yearned for a Mini Cooper as the car of my dreams, it was subsequently that I decided to go 100% electric in order to pollute less and also feel a greater personal sense of comfort while driving.

It is therefore my personal choice that I would like to drive an electric car over a regular fuel-powered one, but if I'm in any such position of endorsement then I would definitely recommend this choice to anyone willing to make a positive change for the surrounding environment as well as for his or her personal life.

Electric cars (and electric motorcycles as well) are my preferred personal method of transportation for the future. They are classy and definitely gorgeous to look at, but there's far more to them than their physical look. They pollute less and can be charged electrically. This means more fresh air for all of us, less overall pollution and satisfaction guaranteed for any talented, and elegant driver.

Now the catch is their overall speed. Since I wouldn't want to have my loved ones worried so much, I would prefer an electric car which is not top speedy (although there has always been a certain spark of terribilism here since my earliest go karting experience at the age of 13).

Anyway, just out of sheer curiosity, several weeks ago I consulted Hotcars and CNN to see the actual top of most fastest cars out there. And while I'm by no stretch of that imagination an expert on the subject, I would just want to highlight a brief list of models that caught my eyes and exchange opinions with like-minded people here on what should I really want for in the future.

Without further ado, here's the top by Hotcars:

  1. Audi E-Tron GT (150 MPH)
  2. Aston Martin Rapide E (155 MPH)
  3. Tesla Model S Performance (163 MPH)
  4. Karma SC2 (200 MPH)
  5. Lotus Evija (200 MPH)
  6. Pinifarina Battista (217 MPH)
  7. NIO EP9 (218 MPH)
  8. Aspark Owl (249 MPH)
  9. Tesla Roadster (250 MPH)
  10. Rimac C_Two (256 MPH)

Bonus: the electric supercars lighting up 2017 on CNN (or what wonderful news I missed back in 2017).

And, last but not least, an alternative top 5 fastest electric cars:

Also, please voice your opinion(s) in the comments' section down below on which car model would you rather choose from the aforementioned and whether you think electric automobiles are indeed the future of personal transportation. Thank you very much for your readership and attention!
