Google discontinues another device and stokes fears people have about Stadia
After spending 1.4 million dollars on his account and avatar an unnamed player his friend barrow it. He's friend tried to charge hime to get it back. But he refused to be extorted. Afterwards his "friend" sold it for $552 via a service called NetEase
The original owner sued both his friend and NetEase. In the final settlement, NetEase reversed the transaction and gave the owner back control of his character. However, the man had to pay the buyer $12,789 in damages
Google also put Rivers and Laurence Berland on leave for allegedly violating company policies. Ahead of an employee rally last week. Organizers said the “attack” on Rivers and Berland “is an attack on all people who care about transparency and accountability for tech.”
