The older I get the more I get frustrated I become with my experiences with technology and their parent companies. Either it's quality issues and planned obsolescence or UX blunders that habituate us to certain ways of engagement only to downgrade our experience with the next thoughtless update that we seemingly have no option to opt out of.

Through this death by a thousand cuts of customer disservice I jokingly refer to as my path to ludite I will try to highlight some of these examples. Let me know if you feel the same way or have examples of your own.


I just found out Brave users on iPhones and iPads will no longer be able to earn rewards for their attention, and will no longer be able to tip their favorite online creators via Brave. Link
