Help me pick an Electric Skateboard!

So we just moved, and now live in town really close to my work, which is awesome!

Since I only live like a couple of miles away from my work now I have been looking for a new means of transportation so I can leave the car with the wife and kids!

I have looked at bikes, electric scooters, and thanks to my friend matt now Electric Skateboards!

The electric skateboard seems like the best option because I can have my hands free (besides the remote), and be able to hold something like bags, guitar, mixer, groceries, or anything really!

I am so glad that I figured out what will work best for me, and now I just have to figure out the best one for me!

I plan on saving/earning extra money to fund this so I have some time to research and think about it, but I am looking for an electric skateboard from like $500 to $1500, and I want it to at least get close to 20mph with at least 15-20 mile range on one charge! ⚡

I have found a few that I really like, and to me it is all about getting the one that will work best for me!

First off I would say the most popular one would probably be the Boosted boards..

Which range anywhere from $750 - $1600 with the lower model having 18mph max and 7 mile range.. Then the higher end one the Boosted Stealth have a max speed of 24mph and 14 mile battery range!

Now the one thing that I don't like about the Boosted boards are that they don't have built on lights like others, but from the reviews the boosted boards seem to have some of the best acceleration and quality so I don't want to miss on that!

The next board we have is Halo Board 2.

Source

This one is around $1,000 and has a max speed of 26mph, a 14 mile range, and 25% hill grade!

Now keep in mind I have to go uphill to work so I will need a board that can climb a decently steep hill, and 25% hill grade is very good compared to others at 10% - 15% so this one would be great for that!

Also the remote for the Halo Board is very cool!

However, just like the Boosted board, the Halo board 2 board does not have built on lights, but you can obviously buy after market lights for both that looks just as cool!

Which sucks because the first Halo Board has really cool lights, but I don't know how I feel about a Twin wheel board with the wheel in the middle.. 🤔

Then the last one on the list is the Action Blink S2!

Source

This one is only $750 currently. and it does come with built on lights!

Which I think are really cool.. especially since I might have to ride home at night time!

So all in all I think each of these would be great boards, and I am willing to check out ANY board, and will continue to search as well!

For now I really link the Action Blink S2, but idk what do you think..

Have you tried out any electric skateboards??

If so leave a comment below on your experience!!
