How electricity is produced from wind farms?

Electricity is undoubtedly one of the most important reasons for the revolutionary changes in human life. The discovery of the electric current has in fact, transformed the planet into a "global village" and one of the most important daily necessities for the growing population of the planet today is "electricity".

In particular, the rotation of the industrial wheel is due to the flow of electricity, because the increase in technical capabilities has become a stepping stone to the development of any country, and in order to reach the height of this ladder, it is imperative that electricity flows at all times. Alternative energy projects are underway to meet the demand for electricity. One such alternative energy source is the "wind power". Methods of generating electricity from wind are cheaper than other alternative energy sources and are able to deliver results in less time.

There are two basic methods of generating electricity from wind power, the most important of which is the sea. There are also two methods of generating electricity from windmills or turbines with respect to the sea. One of them is the windmills that are used to generate electricity along the coast or at some distance within the sea in the path of natural airways.

Another common practice regarding the oceans is to generate electricity from windmills or turbines, which are rolling on water waves floating on the waves in the deep sea. The wind farms of these windmills are called "offshore wind farms".

The basic and important method of generating electricity from wind turbines is the construction of turbines or windmills on a piece of land where strong winds blow year after year. The wind farms of these windmills are called "on shore wind farms".

No matter what method is used to generate electricity with the help of windmills, the main purpose is to make the windmill fans rotate faster through the air. Therefore, the organizations that are active for this purpose, set up their projects in air abundant areas and all such places where air-mills are installed are technically called "wind farms or parks".

If we look at the most important wind farms in the world in terms of the power generation capacity of on-shore and offshore wind farms, it is clear that the United States is at the top and eight of the ten most important wind farms are located on American soil.

The space that is created to generate electricity on a large scale is called a "power station" where water is converted into steam by heat and the large wings are moved by the force of steam. These wings are called turbines. These turbines, which are actually simple engines, are attached to the generator. The rotational motion of the turbine creates a magnetic field in the coil attached to the generator and the process of generating electricity begins. This electricity is then supplied to the whole country by means of wires in a systematic manner.

The top countries that are producing electricity with wind power are China, USA, Germany, Spain, India, England, Italy, France, Canada and Denmark. In addition to these ten frontline countries, various countries around the world are generating 48,351 MW of electricity from wind. Thus, a total of 318,137 MW of electricity is being generated from more than 200,000 windmills in the world, with European and Asian countries playing a major role.
