How to Install FS-UAE Amiga Emulator for Mac and Linux for AMOS Programming

Installing Amiga emulation on Apple Mac or Linux computers is easy with FS-UAE, and once you have your emulation set up you just need to add AMOS to get up and running coding your own Amiga games and demos!

Learn how to install an amiga emulator for your macosx, ubuntu, debian, etc linux computer so once we have FS-UAE setup, we can start Amiga game programming.

First grab the files from https://fs-uae.net (not fsaue as I say in the video!)

You will need the Kickstart ROM files from https://amigaforever.com but in this case you do not need to rename them. As you do not have Windows, grab the CD image from the link in your email after purchase.

If you point FS-UAE at this disk image it can then extract the rom files.

AMOS can be downloaded from https://github.com/marc365/AMOS-Professional-365

If you want a whole ton of games, there is a link to a bundle of WHDload games in my blog post here:
https://makerhacks.com/mister-fpga-amiga/

It conveniently contains a boot disk so you don't even need to set up Workbench!
