Computer Build (Part 1) - Research
We will see how far this goes. Will I lock in on this plan or change course? Hence the research.
It is time though to set up a new video editing machine... and frankly Apple is a joke these days. Is that bad to say? They are great computers and beautiful... but the prices are a joke.
I know my next video editing rig will be a PC. I am going back after years and years, but the question is do I take the next step and dive into a self build.
Not easy but GOODNESS you get more bang for your buck if you can pull it off.
And when it comes to video and effects and hi-res and render times etc... you really do want a powerful machine.
For example, 16GB of Ram is not going to get you too far.
It would be more than enough for so many other softwares and workflows, but not for hi-resolution video.
Regardless, I will share my experience with the research, decision changes, or continuation of this build out.

I know my prices here need to be updated, but this is round one of my research.
